This was amazing. Matthew being a ghost was a huge twist - I totally did not see that coming, and I though it added a really nice touch. It wouldn't have made the story any less awesome if he had been alive, but somehow making him a ghost just added a whole new element of "WOAH!" to the story. And "WOAH!" elements are good.

Alfred's story at the end - SO adorable. Step aside, Arthur, and let me love him.
It was really heartwarming how they came together in the end. The more I read, the more it became apparent that Alfred needed really needed to find happiness, and I'm so happy for him!
And Arthur is just brilliant. I can definitely see him as a craffty storyteller like Scheherazade.
