In the UK, it's etiquette to hold your fork in your right hand if you are ONLY using your fork, but to hold your fork in your left and knife in your right if you're using both. Restaurants will be laid out with the knife on the right and the fork on the left. I've always eaten the opposite way, no one taught me to do it (in fact it was discouraged) but I can't for the life of me figure out the co-ordination to do it the other way around.
Well, C wasn't saying fluff was to be AVOIDED. She reads everything I write, and wanted to read some USUK so I jokingly recommended myself, at which point she said she'd read all my stuff loads of times and that I was getting a little predictable with how my stories would go. She's right, my one shots are generally the same kind of thing but I find angst or other things more wearing to write. Fluff is easy for one-shots, but I prefer chapterfics for broader genres.
