The Eleventh Doctor

I haven't been a fan of Doctor Who, I have to be honest - I watched it when it came back on, and then I stopped, because it got repetitive and boring. The old ones were far more inventive when it came to new monsters/bad guys.

Anyway, I tuned in today to see what the new Doctor, played by relative unknown Matt Smith, would be like. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I haven't been joining in on the hating, because seriously guys, David Tennant wasn't pushing off the show by Smith, he chose to leave, and this young man has the break of a lifetime playing the Doctor. Saying that, I wasn't sure if Matt Smith would be able to provide the energy and life to the character that we've come to expect from Tennant.

Well, in my humble opinion, he managed it very well. He's clearly taken a lot of inspiration from Tennant and that's not a bad thing.

I might tune in next week. Maybe.

In other news, why do fandoms always take over my brain when I have other stuff that I should be doing? I mean, yeah, I still have plenty of time with my projects/assignments, but surely they should take priority over fanfiction? Well.. they don't. I currently have five - count them, five - Word documents open, all different fics, all different pairings (unless you count 'From Fire to Flame' as usxuk, which is kind of is, but that's more a secondary thing than anything else). I have that, then Lithuania/Poland, Austria/Switzerland, Spain/Romano, US/UK.

Bloody bunnyfarm.

On a final note, someone needs to get off their butt and sub Hetalia 53 already. I've been waiting for it all week.

Well, now I can comment the rest xD

It's hard to believe it, these days...someone from the UK who doesn't watch Doctor Who xD
Even though I've heard nothing but good things about it, I can't bring myself to watch it -3-

*gasp* five Word documents?! Epic D8
Well, you may quickly write your main ideas so you won't forget something, and then, you can focus in your assignments ^^'

I don't know that many people who do watch it, to be honest.

Yes five. Now four, since I finished one xD

My best friend loves the Doctor and tries to convince me to watch it but... not the type of story I like.
She doesn't like Hetalia. I showed her Episode 8 (where Italy calls Germany... I hope it is 8). She laughed all the time but still doesn't like it at all.

The older ones are better. If you're going to start watching it I recommend Tom Baker.

Rubbish special effects, but it's all part of the charm.
