Ouchies

For the past week or so I've had this nagging mouth ulcer, up at the back of my mouth where my teeth meet, in just the wrong place for it to not be a bother. It's managed to sit itself right on the nerve and it isn't the first time I've had one of these, but the entire right side of my jaw is just aching, with varying intensity throughout the day. I did worry at first that it was an abscess, or that the wisdom tooth there was impacted, but it turns out that nope, it's just the damned ulcer. All three of the wisdom teeth that I have, have given me horrendous toothache. Seriously, I understand now why babies cry so much when they're teething - it bloody hurts!

The good news is that the pain is subsiding and is now more of a dull throb than anything.

The bad news is, well, it's still there. >.<

Let it never be said that Germans have no sense of humour.

They have this amazing talent of making really annoying songs into ones I want to listen to all the time.

Something to bind my chest - check
Wig - check (actually they tried to deliver it today but no one answered, so I'm getting up tomorrow to wait for the DHL guy.)

Shoes - Not check, yet. Going to shop around Leigh/Wigan and see if I can find any before I shell out on the postage for the ones I've seen on ebay.
Costume - Ordering at the beginning of September. Mum is awesome and is giving me £50 towards it. Because she's awesome.

Also going to get some cheap ACE bandages so I can try the costume on properly when I get it.

Hotel - lucid_endeavor AKA Jasper who I will be going with has sent me (most) of his share of the hotel money, so I shall be booking that.. probably after the weekend when I also have money.

Transport can be booked nearer to the time.

I need to go into town and ask the people in Boots about contact lenses. I don't know exactly what I'll need to do to get them, whether they'll be able to help me then and there or if I'll have to give my optician's a call and ask for my prescription. If I could get away without wearing glasses, I would, but my eyes are rather bad now and it would ruin my day if I had to go half-blind.

Luckily, I am a natural blonde and can therefore carry off England's hair colour. I also have naturally slightly dark eyebrows which I've never plucked, and naturally green eyes. Win.
