Day 02 – Your first love, in great detail
Most. Awkward. Question. Ever.
For a start, love of what? A thing? A place? A person?
If we're talking about people, my first love was my best friend in high school. He was also my first kiss, but I'll go into that more later in the meme. His name was Ashley, and he sat next to me in science. I had a crush on him pretty much all the way through high school, but he never liked me that way (the reason for which became quiiite obvious towards the end of school... yes, he was gay). There isn't really that much to say about it.. Not that I'd be comfortable sharing, in any case.
If it's a thing that you're after, I suppose my first love would be the thing I've had the longest, which is a hand-knitted rag doll made by my auntie Jean. I'm almost 22 but if I feel sad or just if I feel like it I still hug her at night. She's very scruffy now, and probably could use washing... perhaps I'll do that this week.
The first love of a place I can remember is a love of the Lake District. Some people, my mother and step-dad especially, would probably laugh to hear that and tell me that I never get up to go there, but that doesn't stop me from loving it. I love the quiet, and the views, and the way that the air actually feels fresh when you breathe it.
