If it's printed, I doubt anyone will notice the word count being a little low. That's more of a guideline than a rule, anyway.
I think that fanfiction is appealing to writers because there is a set character that you can use and do whatever you want with. Your own characters have a lot more to them you have to address and manipulate... Just a thought. It's been a while since I wrote and completed something with my babies, too. /n\
Tiny fish eating dead skin off your feet. Interesting. I'd check that out something, but I'm so ticklish it's criminal. orz My poor feet are in such a state, though, because I hate wearing shoes and socks. They're rough and cracked and permanently discoloured because of all the blacktop/asphalt I walk on, I think.
