I went to the zoo today! Started out the morning not feeling too well, but soon got over that.

Beware, ENORMOUS PICSPAM )

I blame [livejournal.com profile] haro  for this. All of it. I now have a list of posters I want.

Pics pulled from Ebay so some of them might look a little funny.

Featuring the cutest baby brother in the world, and Prussia being... Prussia. )

Fffff. I don't care that I have no room to put all of these. I don't care that buying them would mean I can't really buy anything else for a while. I want them damnit.

Ne, ne, ne, ne~ My plants are still growing!

Pics~ )

Look at them grooooow >w<;

But on to other things, I have this huge pile of manga to read. I actually own a lot of manga and books that I haven't read yet. Sob...

Book towers! D: )

Surprisingly (or not, depending on how well you know me), that pile of books doesn't even amount to half of the books I own. Derp. Some of those have been sitting around waiting to be read for at least two years. I really should get to them, I've done barely any reading for pleasure in the past three years and I used to enjoy reading so much.. D:

I really don't know what happened.

Maybe it was broadband internet.

Probably.

Bob is doing well.

Bob~ )

Yes, it was me who wrote 'Bob' on the pot.

My shoulders are burned!

This whole 'gardening' lark is really getting into full swing. My mum and me spent an hour chopping a big bush down that was choking some other plants. We managed to fill the bin with it, as you see here:

And this is what we were left with, after finding a flowering raspberry, a plant that 'has pink flowers on it' and 'something that grandma gave me' according to my mother.

I'm hoping things start to grow quickly 'cause that garage is really, really ugly. =|

We have some nice flowers in the garden at the moment. Bluebells and peonies.

Ben is starting to not like the heat so much. I don't think he quite knows what to do with himself - he just keeps wandering around and flopping down in the shade. He spent three hours with a daisychain around his neck today, until John started chasing him with the hosepipe and he ran inside and shook it off. Speaking of the hosepipe, after about ten years of mum saying 'I wish we had an outside tap', we finally have one!

Isn't it so shiny...

Moving on! I've actually been cool enough to start writing today, so here is the beginning of the third chapter of From Fire to Flame for your perusal.

“Aah, man, being a nation is hard.” Peter leaned back in his chair and stretched, tilting his head back to look up as a hand fell on his shoulder.

“What have I told you about coming into my house without permission?” Arthur said, one eyebrow raised as his brother grinned up at him and half rolled out of the chair, coming to his feet, eye-to-eye with the Englishman.

And... that's all, for now.

Aaaargh it's so hot. Another day in the thirties (high eighties) and humid to boot. I don't think I can stand much more of this.

Anyways my dad came to visit today, and we went to my aunt Jo's house and had a barbeque. I got rather snap happy, so now you get to see my photos XP

If you like, that is. )

Other, more general stuff about updates and whatnot. )
