Yeah, but apparently they've been grooming his third son for the throne for some time now, so it's uncertain whether there will be any upheaval. He's been sick for some time, so his death has been expected. Also, didn't his father die and pass the throne on to him? It seems like a relatively stable regime with regards to the succession of power.
Mm, his father died in 1994 I think. Or '96. I can't remember.
His son has been groomed this is true, but none of his sons were particularly strong candidates for leadership to begin with. I suppose we'll have to wait and see.
