Oh dear me.

LJ, you are not having a good time of it these past few days, are you? According to Livejournal's Facebook page and their status page they've been suffering a rather serious DDoS attack. They haven't said from whom or where the attacks are coming from but the general consensus seems to be that it's people who aren't very happy with the fact that Livejournal offers a platform for Russians to have free speech.

I don't plan to leave, I'm rather settled here and I didn't invest so much time (and money) into my LJ account just to abandon it because of a few days of downtime.

At least the extra days on the usxuk event mean that I have time to do the themes that I missed, because I was rather disappointed about missing those ovo
