So, stuff has been happening. I went to another Samaritans shift on Thursday (thankfully the bus ride was mostly free of stupid teenagers), and just when I thought it was going to be a flop with not many calls I picked one up from a rather distraught woman who asked me to call her back. So I did, because we do that, and I spent half an hour on the phone to her. She felt better by the end, she said, and she thanked me (I love it when they thank me), so I left feeling pretty good. I probably could have handled the call better but Ann Marie was putting me off by being sat next to me. I can't wait until I get to answer the calls on my own.

In other news, I'm off on my jolly holidays next Friday, down to Steeple Ashton in Wiltshire. Not very exciting, but after that I'm staying at my dad's overnight, then going to London for the 4th and coming home on the 5th. I'm apparently going to be spoiled rotten. I'm rather looking forward to it.

Also, I made a new friend X3 A friend of a friend that got introduced to me. I then found out he lives in Bolton, a bus ride away, and we're getting along like a house on fire :3 He's so sweet and charming X3 And cute. Very cute.
