Anyone half-decent with computers?
Dec. 25th, 2010 08:30 pmFor some reason, at the moment, when I try to run my webcam on MSN or AIM (not tried any other messenger but I can only assume the same for them), once the link has closed - AIM wouldn't even show my camera - the program locks up, and can only be exited using task manager. However, the process hangs and doesn't respond to the 'end process' option. It's also causing a problem because then, my laptop will hang when trying to shut down (I imagine unable to because of the hanging process).
It's not a big deal, I can live without using my webcam, it's just a bit perplexing. My last updates were for Windows Defender, one on the 21st and one on the 24th, and I'm pretty sure my cam worked before yesterday.
Any clues, anyone?

Slowing down a program to nonresponsive is understandable but not your whole computer that it lags to shut down. Clearly something got overworked.
