I'm going to MCM! X3
Costume is 85% done, got the coach tickets, money for the hotel, expo tickets, and I should very soon have my camera (which is a birthday present, but I'm getting it early so I can take it with me) from my daddeh. Who is awesome. =3
I spent all day today clearing stuff out of my room. I managed to throw away four bin-bags of junk but it's a bit hard to tell what's been thrown away since most of it came from places that you can't see unless you look. Under my desk is mostly clear, my wardrobe has been tidied, and I've removed most of the stuff from under my bed. The shelf over my bed now just has books on it and a couple of ornaments instead of boxes with stuff in them that I didn't really need.
Back to MCM plans. Jasper's going to come here and stop over on Thursday night, and we're going on Friday. My university schedule actually comes in handy for this because I have both of these days completely free. On the Friday we're going to have to wake up stupidly early (ie 6.15AM) to get into Manchester for the 8.45AM coach. This will result in me either sleeping early or not sleeping at all, since if I sleep I'll just end up feeling ill when I wake up. I can always sleep on the coach. We're going to get to London at half past one, and then go to the hotel and wait around a bit before we go up to the room (since check-in is at 3PM).
Our very clever plan is to, on Thursday, go to Asda and get some food to take with us, because the prices of food in London are really extortionate. We've run the list to 'pot noodle, cereal, crisps, McDonalds, soup'. That should keep us going for two days, right..? I think so. If not we'll just be reduced to living on stuff out of the vending machines again, like last year when we didn't really think this through. I think (THINK) there is a newsagents somewhere near the hotel... but then, we can always scout around the area of Victoria Coach Station before we get on the underground and get some milk from an Aleef's or something. They must have shops similar to that down there.
Aside from that, nothing much has happened. Spurred on by the fanmail I got from one very kind reader I'm going to update my fanfic. Hopefully tonight. I got a lot of it done on the train coming back from my friend Robin's (where I stayed over the weekend, see my dA journal for more details if you feel so inclined), so I'm going to write that up now.
