Fish Finger Sandwiches!

I've rediscovered my love for fish finger sandwiches recently, only to be greeted with a chorus of 'fish finger.. sandwiches?' from Americans and Europeans alike. So, because I'm terribly bored and get weird ideas when I haven't slept, I feel the need to educate.
First of all, you have your fish fingers (also known as fish sticks):

Om nom nom. Now, we grill them. Five should be enough for one sandwich.

They take about ten minutes to grill so you can do other things while that's going on, like buttering the bread, or making a brew...

(I freakin' love that cup.)
When the fish fingers are done, it's time to put them on the bread~

You can add sauce if you like, at this point. Personally, I don't, but whatever floats your boat. I would also recommend you cut it in half, if only because the heat will soak through the bread and it might be awkward to hold it if you don't.

Then, enjoy~! I know I did! =D

(Benny likes fish finger sandwiches, too.)

Date: 2010-06-01 11:29 am (UTC)I prefer fish fingers in bread rolls (I hope that bread roll is the right word for what we call "Brötchen").

We call them fish sticks over here. But yours sounds cooler.
And now I really want some, me and my friends use to put them inside of hot dog buns with katchup and mustard.
