I posted in my last entry that my mum had finally relented and was allowing me to get some fish. I was going to go today, but I woke up late and mum and John had already gone out into Manchester, which I was slightly peeved about, but what you gonna do.

Considering I had two extra days to make up my mind, I decided to broach the topic of a different kind of pet with mum. Hermit crabs. I love the things, they're so neat, but I was sure that she'd be too freaked out by the idea. Things with lots of legs weird her out a bit, you know. I asked her anyway, just to see what she said, and to my surprise and delight she said that it was up to me =o

So I may be getting hermit crabs instead! Two, I think, or three. It depends how much they cost. I think that the pet shop in town sells them. If they don't I'm happy to settle for fish instead, but if I can have hermit crabs, and I can find them, I'm getting them.

I can't promise that. It's a bit hard to type all day with crossed fingers.
I'll cross... I dunno, some neurons or something. Or will a few of my skin cells to cross to make up for the lack of practical finger crossing.
But I am hoping that you get 'em. =3
