Busy busy busy =O

I don't usually work Tuesdays, but I went in today with my sister because she's doing two mornings a week. We were there from 10am until 1pm, and I probably should have worked harder than I did but hey I wasn't meant to be there anyway.

While I was upstairs, I saw a book that I recognised the title of - Game of Thrones. I've heard a lot about this book so I picked it up to have a look, then under it I saw another one by the same author - the third book (part one, paperback). After a bit more digging I found...



I got all of these for £1.50 each, and the latter four don't even appear to have been read. The spines are completely undamaged. The fifth book comes out in paperback on March 15th and I will hopefully have finished this pile of dead tree and ink by then. I still have The Time Traveller's Wife to read, as well as another book I picked up called The Last Templar. I spent £10 on six books. I love charity shops.

In other news, I've finally booked the shark dive that my dad bought me for my birthday. Yes, you read right - shark dive. It's booked for the sixth of April, and it is going to be awesome. It's been so long since I used SCUBA gear, I hope I didn't forget how to breathe properly.

GT: Maybe i was being kind of unfair to him in the first place?
GT: I mean by saying we would be a good match only if he was a girl.
GT: Like is that last condition there really all THAT important?

woa, I've been out for a while, the last new I read abot you, was about you finishing you career, and now you work, It's a looong time indeed D: but I'm glad to hear about you in such an awesome mood :D

I love books, but now I don't have time to read, college is killing me hard but I like it :D and I believe soon I'll have the chance to read again... When you finish them I'd be pleased if you tell me if they worth it :D so I read them also

I think that more than the gender, the person is who really matters, and if you believe he worths it, he surely is. So I think that we regret more of what we hadn't tried than for those things that we have done... JS

Unfortunately I'm only volunteering so I'm not being paid, but I need all the experience I can get at the moment!

I'll be sure to let you know if the books are any good, but I have a lot more that I can recommend to you :)

Ahh yes I now that feeling... when I worked I had to do the same, but at the end you'll miss a bit those days, except for the income that you receive, that's one of the best feelings >.< :D and where are you working?

Oh master recommend me *begs* OTL, I'll go shpping in like a week and I want to put some books in my to-buy list :D

Well I'm having fun so it's not so bad. I'm working at a charity shop in my town - the British Heart Foundation.

Hehe! Well what books do you like to read? I would recommend 'Poison' by Chris Wooding but I recommend that book to everyone because it's awesome.

the lovely one (The little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéri)
the adventure one (Chronicles of narnia by C.S.Lewis)
The serie one (The Stone of Light by Christian jacq)
The childish one (Doctor Squash, the doll doctor by Margaret Wise Brown)
the love story ones (north and south by Elizabeth gaskell)(Pride and prejudice by Jane Austen)(Wuthering Heights by emily Brönte)
The fiction one (the hobbit by J. R. R. tolkien)
the silly one (what my mother doesn't know by Sonya Sones)
The teenage one (The life history of a star by Kelly Easton)
And I know there are more in my F-list, bust I think that those are ok, because, they were the first coming to my mind (:

I would still recommend you read Poison. I'd also say you might like the Bartimaeus Trilogy by Jonathan Stroud, and The Dragonriders of Pern saga by Anne McCaffrey.

Noup, SH has always been a mystery for me... It's complicated but I've never found it in the bookshops nearby my home, (when I've looked for it, it have never been never available), but next week I'll go to town so I'll have more chances (:
